Sandycombe Lodge, Twickenham, Middlesex
HEA assisted the Turner's House Trust to prepare a successful HLF Stage 2 bid designing the gardens for multi-purpose use supporting appreciation of the artist's work. Turner was interested in architecture and designed his own villa in Twickenham, Middlesex, as a retreat from busy London. Today much of the original garden has disappeared leaving a small multifunctional garden to the south of the villa. Opened 2017. Client: the Friends of Turner's House
