Countryside Stewardship Parkland Plans

HEA can offer a full Countryside Stewardship service researching the historical background to estates and drawing together this information into parkland plans. The plans identify the arhcaeological, historical and ecological significance of the landscape and propose funded works to conserve the value of these special estates.

Waddesdon Estate: this Grade I landscape, managed by the Waddesdon Estate, provides the setting to Waddesdon Manor, one of the most visited properties of the National Trust. The landscape was designed by Elie Lainé

Waddesden Manor, Buckinghamshire

Eythrope Estate: this landscape was designed for Alice Rothschild, sister of the owner of Waddesdon Manor in the C19, and was created as a place to visit during the day. Accordingly, The Pavilion, her house on the estate, was designed specifically for entertaining only.

Eythrope, Buckinghamshire
