Copped Hall, Essex
HEA was commissioned to prepare a Conservation Statement for the Copped Hall Estate. The Hall itself is under the management of the Copped Hall Trust but its setting, a Grade II landscape, is under the care of the City of London as part of its Buffer Lands for Epping Forest. The Hall has a long history: originally owned by Waltham Abbey as a hunting ground it became a major Tudor landscape and was then transformed into an English Landscape in the C18. Client: City of London
